How to get your XP Skype Phone/Adapter to work with Vista (tech news feeds)

I thought I would create a new topic for my posts to another thread for those who may not look there. I have found a workaround to get my VoipVoice uConnect adapter (no Vista drivers) to work on my Vista machine and I think this would also more than likely work with other phones and devices having the same problem (i.e. no Vista drivers).
