VoIP-over-WiMAX/WiFi design runs Linux (LinuxDevices.com)
D2 Technologies announced a WiMAX mobile-phone reference design to be offered in Google Android and Windows CE/Mobile versions in the second quarter. The “dual-mode” WiMAX/WiFi design uses a Texas Instruments (TI) OMAP-based processor, along with D2’s “softDSP” VoIP engine and mCUE user interface stack.
