NEW YORK — When he wanted to interview a source in Connecticut for a recent “World News” story on technology, ABC reporter Pierre Thomas didn’t even leave the office. ABC’s cameras showed him sitting in front of a computer screen, talking to Michael Coppolla through Skype. Skype on Monday announced the official launch of Skype Connect 1.0, formerly known as Skype for SIP. Previously available in beta, Skype Connect delivers a business solution that enables IP-enabled private branch exchange (PBX) or Unified Communications systems to connect to Skype.

I was one of the big fan of skype but after using Jajah, Truphone and Vopium I believe they are the best competitors and not only offer cheap solutions but their add-ons are also amazing.
